Definition of trauma
“Trauma can be defined as any experience or repeated experience where the person feels terrified, powerless and overwhelmed, to the extent that it challenges their capacity to cope. It can leave an imprint on the person’s nervous system, emotions, body, behaviours, learning and relationships.”
(de Thierry, 2021, p.15)
We offer training, online and in person, to equip pastors, ministers, kids and youth pastors, mentors and anyone else. Training in partnership with Trauma Recovery Global.
We want to equip people to create safe communities and trauma informed churches. As such we have one day training courses and the longer Trauma Informed Churches 7 day course. Below is the information about them.
